The company was started in the year 1995 by Mr. K.S. Venkatesh Rao and is dealing with all Agricultural and Horticultural inputs.

The company supplies all inputs for commercial Horticulture, Floriculture and urban gardening.

The major inputs given are:

I. Organic compost manure, Vermicompost, Vermiwash, Neem Cake, Pongamia Cake,

Oil cakes. Herbal insect repellent extracts Panchagavya, Plant nutrients and others.

II. Coir Media: We have separate grades for raising seedlings, for making potted plants,

for soil conditioning. We are the pioneers in producing soilless substrat. This is made

with graded husk, pumice stone, addition of nutrition is optional.

III. Expanded Perlite / Vermiculite / Fiber / Sand / husk coco chips, pumice stone etc.

These are used for making potting mixes. All the above are naturally occurring

material.

IV. Filter cloth, Seedling Trays, Shade Nets and insect Proof Net Houses etc. The

company is the pioneer in supply of pre stitched net house of any dimensions. These

are very popular among house gardens and Nurseries for growing seedlings and

vegetable.

V. Plastic and Earthen containers: These containers are used for herbal gardens and

flowering plants in general.

VI. Sprinklers, Sprayers, Tools like Secateurs, Garden Tools, Gloves etc. all these inputs

help the gardeners. The company keeps stocks of different tools from all over the

country and abroad.

VII. The company is the Registered Distributors of M/s. Syngenta Flowers, U.S.A.

for their range of flower seeds in India. Apart from this the company Imports flower

seeds from M/s. Benary, Sakata, Panam and others.

VIII. Automatic and semi automatic seeder lines for seeding into protrays the

seeders are imported from USA & amp; ITALY.

a) We supply mechanical solution for media mixing tray filling, dibbling,

seeding, watering & stacking of trays. These are imported from DA ROS

Italy.

b) We supply complete system for watering seedlings using watering booms

imported from Italy.

IX. Automatic seedling transplanters and harvesters.

The second major development by Varsha Enterprises was the establishment of pre-stitched

insect proof Net houses. The much needed requirement of the seed industry was to produce

more quality seeds in the limited area. Therefore production of seeds under insect proof net

houses was well accepted by all leading Hybrid seed producers.

For the first time in India our company imports and supplies Homeopathic Solution to

plants. Our collaboration M/s Biplantol are highly experienced in this field. They have more

than 45 years of experience in this field. The product has gained acceptance in Indian market.

The latest additions to the new products are:-

(i) Right Pot: - Similar to Air Pots a revolutionary product used for growing small

plants and trees alike.

(ii) Anti Bissan: - This is product which is acclaimed as a great innovation in more

than 7 countries. This is an aromatic preparation to repel animals, rodents, ants,

snails & birds etc. the product has been successfully launched in India and in used

in large quantities by general public, farmers & plantation.

To cater to the requirement of the needs of House Garden in Bangalore, Varsha has two

Garden Stores and supplies quality inputs like hand tools, Sprayers, pots, manures, nutrition

etc. (both local and imported).
